In 1926, Thomas Henry Fergusson founded the company selling coal 'door-to-door' from a horse & cart and the business grew from strength to strength. His son Hamish, after taking over, continued to develop the company with the same dedication to excellent customer service.

A third generation family firm, now owned by grandsons Tom & Alan Fergusson (joint Managing Directors), Fergusson Coal has grown from a small depot in Stirling to become a nationwide retailerand distributor of domestic and industrial solid fuels sourced both from the indigenous industry and from abroad.
